The wierd looking dog, BECK!

Beck is about Tanaka Yukio, otherwise known as Koyuki, a 14 year old schoolboy that doesn't really get along with people well. Through some random events, he saves a wierd looking dog which belongs to guitarist Ryuusuke Minami. After awhile, he becomes involved with him, and joins his band called BECK. The anime focuses on Koyuki trying to move with the band to stardom.

Genre: Music, Romance

Status: Completed 26 episodes.

Personal Comment: I really liked BECK cause personally I like stories about how bands build up. The music in the show is wonderful and there is an interesting storyline behind the formation of the band, and also the mysterious and charismatic guitarist - Ryuusuke. The slight blend of romance and comedy also makes this anime a very interesting and cool anime to watch. For guitar and bass fans, this is 1 anime that you should watch.

Personal Rating : 4 / 5
