Ai yori Aoshi

Ai yori Aoshi is about Hanabishi Kaoru who is typical college student. On the way home from school one day, he met a beautiful girl dressed in kimono at the train station. As she did not know her way around the city, he volunteered to guide her to the address she was looking for, which, unfortunately turned out to be an empty space. Not knowing what to do next, Kaoru invited her to his apartment for a rest, and also to find out if there were any other clues leading her to her destination. The only clue that she had, was a photo with two children inside. Kaoru was shocked to find out that the photo was of himself and his childhood friend - Sakuraba Aoi. It turned out that the girl was Aoi, his fiancée who came all the way to Tokyo to marry him. The story goes on the show what happens in their daily life, and how they bond with each other.

Genre : Romance, Drama, Comedy, Ecchi, Slice of life

Status : Completed with sequel. - Ai Yori Aoshi - Enishi

User comments: This anime is very intersting to watch. The way they blend the elements of comedy, romance, and everyday life really catches my attention. The romantic build up is at a decent pace too, which means that most people won't be upset at watching 4-5 episodes with 0 progression.
